Terms & Conditions

• You must be legally able to enter a binding contract in your jurisdiction.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your account and all activity under it.
• We may verify identity, request information, and refuse or cancel accounts to protect users and the platform.

• Public access to card values and team statistics.
• Registered users (as features roll out) can create a profile, manage an album, list items for sale/auction/swap, and use deal messaging.
• We may add, change, or remove features at any time.

• You must own and be able to transfer any item you list. Counterfeits or infringing items are forbidden.
• Describe items accurately (condition, signed/unsigned, edition, defects). Provide clear images.
• Sales: fixed-price listings are an offer to sell at the stated price until you cancel or the item sells.
• Auctions: the highest valid bid at close wins. Bids are binding. Sellers may set reserve/start prices.
• Swaps/Trades: both parties must confirm the final terms in the deal thread before shipping.
• WataSport is a venue. Buyers and sellers form contracts directly with each other.

• Displayed values are calculated from WataSport’s model and inputs you or we provide. Values are for information only, not financial advice.
• Market prices may differ. We do not guarantee value accuracy, availability, or future performance.
• Currency conversions are display-only; ZAR is the base.

• Fake, stolen, or infringing goods; items that breach licensing, image rights, or applicable laws.
• Harassment, hate speech, spam, scams, or attempts to manipulate bids/values.
• Bypassing platform processes or fee avoidance on active deals.

• Payment processing and fees will be set out in your deal flow (and updated in the app as features launch).
• Users are responsible for any bank, payment, or marketplace fees shown at checkout.
• Users are responsible for applicable taxes, duties, and customs where required.

• Unless agreed otherwise in the deal thread, the seller ships safely and promptly after payment or swap confirmation.
• Use tracked shipping and keep proof of dispatch and delivery. Share tracking in the deal thread.
• Risk passes to the buyer upon delivery as evidenced by the carrier’s records, unless law requires otherwise.

• Try to resolve issues in the deal message thread first (missing item, not as described, etc.).
• WataSport may review evidence (photos, tracking, chats) and, at our discretion, take action on accounts or listings.
• Chargebacks and payment disputes must include the full deal history and proof.

• You retain rights to content you upload, but grant WataSport a licence to host, display, and promote your listings within the platform.
• Report infringement via Contact & Support. We may remove content or suspend accounts where appropriate.
• WataSport branding, logos, software, and data models are owned by Watalot or its licensors.

• We handle personal data in line with our privacy practices (to be published). We collect only what we need to operate the service and comply with law.
• Operational data (values, listings, stats) may be processed and stored to improve the service and prevent fraud.

• We may suspend or terminate accounts, remove listings, or restrict features to protect users and the platform.
• You may close your account at any time; closing does not affect valid deals already agreed.

• The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant uninterrupted, error-free operation or value accuracy.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, WataSport and Watalot are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or loss of data.
• Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to your use of the platform will not exceed the greater of: (a) fees you paid to us in the 3 months before the claim, or (b) ZAR 1,000.
